Product Description

Copper River Wild Alaska Marinated Zesty Grill Sockeye Salmon, 12 OZ.

Preparation Instructions

Keep frozen. Thaw under refrigeration immediately before use. Basic Preparation: Thawing: The thawing process allows the marinade flavor to be absorbed into the salmon. For best results, thaw vacuum-packed salmon portions in refrigerator for 8-10 hours. For quick thawing, place vacuum-packed salmon portions in cold water for 30 minutes. Once thawed, remove salmon portions from vacuum packaging and store in the refrigerator until ready to use. Tip: For best flavor and texture, remove portions from heat as soon as center is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Bake: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Remove salmon portions from packaging. Place portions on a sheet of aluminum foil in an oven-safe baking dish, skin side down. Bake salmon portions for 15-20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F. Grill: Preheat grill to medium-high. Remove salmon portions from packaging. Place each portion on a sheet of aluminum foil, skin side down. Wrap foil around each portion and twist ends to close. Place foil packets on grill, seam side down. Cook for approximately 5-7 minutes on each side or until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F. Pan-Sear: Preheat pan to medium high. Lightly coat pan in oil or butter. Remove salmon portions from packaging and place in pan, skin side up. Cook until salmon is browned. Flip and continue to cook until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F. Microwave: Remove thawed salmon from packaging. Lightly coat a microwave-safe baking dish with cooking spray. Place salmon portions in dish, skin side up. Cover with plastic wrap and peel back corner to allow steam to escape. Microwave on high for 4-5 minutes, turning once halfway through. Cook until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F. Remove from microwave and let sit for 3-4 minutes before serving. Safety & Storage: Keep raw fish separated from other foods. Wash hands, work area, cutting surface and utensils before and after handling. Salmon portions must be kept frozen until ready to use. Once thawed, salmon should be stored at or below 38 degrees F and consumed within two days. Portions should not be refrozen.
