Non-Stick Aluminum Pan is great for big families and does it all- Perfect for Stir Fry, One Pot Meals, Frying and Sautéing. Non-Stick interior allows less oil for healthier cooking and easy clean up.
Before First Use: Remove all labels, hand wash in hot soapy water, rinse and towel dry immediately. Stove Top Use: Do not boil dry. Do not heat this pot/pan to temperatures above 475 degrees F. Keep handles away from direct heat. Although the handles of your new cookware are designed to stay cool on the stove top you should always use oven mitts or pot holders when handling cookware on the stove. Use only nylon, wood, or other non-scratching utensils. Using metal utensils or sharp instruments or appliances to cut, chop, or whip food will damage the non-stick surface. Oven Use: Non-stick aluminum cookware with bakelite handles are oven safe up to 350 degrees F. Non-stick aluminum cookware with silicone handles are oven safe up to 350 degrees F. Non-stick aluminum cookware with stainless steel handles are oven safe up to 475 degrees F. Never put non-stick aluminum cookware under the broiler. Cooking Tips: To pre-heat add a small amount of cooking oil, margarine, or butter to a cold pot/pan. Heat on medium temperature for one to two minutes before adding food. Be sure your cooking surface is level. Burners and stoves that are not level may cause fats to pool; pooled fats and oils do not adequately cover cooking surfaces. Clean pot/pan thoroughly after each use. Food films cause sticking and discoloration on the pot/pan when it is reheated. Sticking may also be caused by high heat. When fats or oils smoke, the heat is too high. To avoid salt damage (small white dots or pits), add salt after food begins to cook or after liquids to boil. Pitting does not interfere with cooking performance but it can diminish the beauty of your cookware. Do not store foods seasoned with salt in cookware. General Temperature Recommendation: Use high heat (not higher than 475 degrees F) for boiling or reducing liquids only. Medium to medium-high heat for sauteing, stir frying and frying. Low heat for warming food, simmering and preparing delicate sauces. Cleaning: Clean with hot water and mild dish washing soap using a sponge, nylon pad, or dishcloth and towel dry thoroughly. Dishwasher safe. Never use abrasives of any kind when cleaning, including steel wool, scouring pads, abrasive powders, or oven cleaners. Do not use harsh detergents or cleaners with chlorine bleach. This will damage the non-stick coating and reducing its effectiveness. Avoid extreme temperature changes; bring cooking vessels to room temperature before submerging in cold water, not doing so may cause warping. Should the non-stick coating become scratched, light coat with cooking oil before storing. This will prevent the exposed area from corroding.
