Preparation Instructions

Use and Care: 1. Place securely on a smooth flat surface. Grip sharpener firmly by its non-slip pads, between your thumb and forefingers. 2. Hold your knife steady and run the blade between the sharpening rods. Start from the hilt and pull the blade toward you, all the way to the tip in one smooth stroke. Excess pressure on the blade is not necessary; pull in one direction only and keep the blade straight. 3. Repeat as necessary to get a sharp edge; take care to keep your hand away from the blade and maintain a firm hold to avoid injury. To clean; wipe with damp cloth. Do not immerse in water or clean in dishwasher.

Not for use with serrated blades. Blade should be cleaned before and after each use.
