Description
Garzon's icon red wine is a blend of the vineyard's most exciting varieties, Tannat, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Marselan. The first winery from Uruguay, and only the third from South America, to be sold by Le Place de Bordeaux negociants, released on a limited, annual basis. The ballast soil at Bodega Garzón is decomposed granite rock with excellent drainage and minerality, ideal to provide the complexity, energy and vibrancy for Balasto. The wine offers aromas of fresh red and black fruit, complex and elegant spices with juicy tannins, excellent texture and long finish. Uruguay's Icon Red wine.
