Barefoot Contessa Beef Stew Bourguignon

Item is no longer available.
Product Description

Rich beef stew with carrots, pearl onions and mushrooms in a Burgundy wine sauce. Dinner for 2 in 10 minutes. US inspected and passed by Department of Agriculture. This tastes like a trip to my favorite city - Paris! - rich beef stew with red wine, carrots and onions. Even Better: Substitute red wine for water. Serve over a slice of grilled bread. Nothing tastes better than a freshly cooked dinner made with great ingredients. Barefoot Contessa Saute Dinners are produced in the world's first LEED certified frozen food manufacturing plant. Certification was granted by the US Green Building Council (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System.

Preparation Instructions

Keep frozen. Place sauce packet in a large bowl of hottest tap water. Put contents of package and 1/4 cup water in a large skillet. Cover and cook over Medium-High heat for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add semi-thawed sauce packet, cover, and cook an additional 5-6 minutes, until sauce thickens. Sprinkle with packet of chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve hot.
