Universal low silicate formulation. Autoguard Ready to Use is a conventional green colored, universal low silicate antifreeze formulated for use in automotive and heavy-duty applications. When used in heavy-duty applications, the addition of separate Supplemental Coolant Additives (SCAs) is required. Recommended for all conventional aluminum and metal cooling systems. Made in USA.
Do not remove radiator cap when engine is hot. Check owner's manual for specified antifreeze usage. Top-Off: Remove radiator cap when engine is cool. Top off radiator and fill reservoir with Autoguard Ready to Use Antifreeze. Do not add water. Check fluid level periodically. When topping off, continue to follow owner's manual for antifreeze changeup recommendations. Flush and Fill: Drain: Remove radiator cap when engine is cool. Drain radiator completely by opening valve at the bottom of the radiator. Check belts and hoses - replace if needed. Flush: To help remove sediment, flush radiator with water until discharge runs clear. Close drain valve and fill with clean water and high quality cooling system flush/cleaner. Set heater at High. Start engine and run until heater activates. Stop engine, allow to cool, then drain radiator again. Close drain valve. Refill: Add Autoguard Ready to Use Antifreeze Coolant. Do not add water. Run engine with heater on High until heater activates. When engine cools, top off radiator and fill reservoir with Autoguard Antifreeze mixture. Check fluid level periodically. Check owner's manual for manufacturer's recommendations. Protection Chart (degrees F): Concentration: Boiling Point (Using a 15 lb. pressure cap), 50%: 265 degrees; Concentration: Freezing Point, 50%: -34 degrees.
