After the birth of our daughter Amy in 1987 we found there was little time to prepare the wholesome nutritious food we normally ate. Realizing there were others like ourselves, we set up Amy's Kitchen to produce delicious, nourishing frozen meals for health conscious people too busy to cook. We use only the finest natural and organic ingredients and prepare them with the same careful attention in our kitchen as you would in your own home. No meat, fish, poultry or eggs are ever used in any Amy's products. A good veggie burger is hard to find. And finding a great tasting veggie burger, especially one that is gluten free and contains no dairy, is even harder to do. But when you try Amy's Bistro Burger, you'll say Eureka, I found it. That's because this veggie burger, made with organic brown rice, pinto beans, an assortment of organic vegetables, plenty of mushrooms and a touch of barbeque sauce to give it that just of the grill flavor, is truly delicious. Preparation Instructions

These burgers are fully prebaked. Please do not overcook. Overcooking will make them too dry. Stove Top: Heat on lightly oiled skillet for 3 - 4 minutes on each side or until heated all the way through. Microwave Oven: Remove from over wrap and place one or more patties in a single layer on a microwave - safe plate. Microwave one patty for about 50 - 60 seconds. Increasing cooking time about 50 - 60 seconds for each additional patty. Let stand 1 minutes before eating. Since microwave ovens vary, please adjust the cooking time to suit your particular oven. Barbecuing: Oil each side lightly before putting on the grill. Toaster Oven or Conventional Oven: Place on a cookie sheet and heat at 400 degrees for 4 - 5 minutes on each side or until heated all the way through.
