They dreamed of spreading Jason's magically delicious non-dairy frozen dessert far and wide. Along with Leslie's husband, Alan, they opened Plant, a vegan restaurant in Asheville, North Carolina, featuring Jason's luscious non-dairy frozen dessert. On their honeymoon, Amy's cousin Anna and her husband, Andrew, stopped to eat there, and went wild over the non-dairy frozen dessert, which was so delicious that Andrew, who loves ice cream, couldn't believe it contained no dairy. Anna, deciding she simply had to have it in California, called home. Soon, Amy's Uncle Joel was in Asheville talking to Jason, Leslie and Alan about working with Amy's to introduce it to a wider audience. They agreed and our chefs adapted their recipes to create four smooth, great tasting flavors - rich, dark Chocolate, creamy Vanilla with real vanilla bean, refreshing Mint Chocolate Chip and Mocha Chocolate Chip.
