NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
A PURCHASE WILL NOT improve your chances of winning. Contest begins 8/31/05 and ends 9/28/05 ("Program Period"). All contest entries must be postmarked by 9/29/05 and received by 10/4/05.
WHO MAY ENTER:
Contest is open only to public high schools located within a 50-mile radius of an H-E-B Food & Drug Store or an H-E-B Pantry store. The H-E-B Market Area of the participating H-E-B store nearest the entering school determines the H-E-B Market Area in which that school will be entered for the Contest. To find out what Market Area an H-E-B store is in, inquire at the store’s Customer Service Center. Market Areas are: Central Texas; Houston; San Antonio/West Texas; South Texas. . Winning school may be required to provide proof of public school status at time prize is claimed. Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
HOW TO ENTER:
- Each entering public high school should designate a contest coordinator (the “School Coordinator”) to coordinate the collection of Eligible Receipts from persons such as students, students’ parents, faculty members, and staff (without limitation). An “Eligible Receipt” is any receipt for the purchase of a Participating Product (listed below) from a participating H-E-B Food & Drug or H-E-B Pantry store during the Program Period (8/31/05-9/28/05). Each Participating Product listed on the Eligible Receipt is worth 1 point, subject to a maximum of 25 points per receipt. To be counted, the Participating Products should be circled or highlighted on the Eligible Receipt(s) (subject to the maximum of 25 per receipt) and the Eligible Receipts submitted to the School Coordinator. Only receipts for purchases during the Program Period are eligible. Must submit the original receipt.
- Throughout the Program Period, the School Coordinator collects and reviews the submitted receipts and keeps a running count of the aggregate number of Participating Products circled eligible receipts.
- At the end of the Program Period, the School Coordinator performs a final count of the total number of participating products circled on the receipts. The School Coordinator must then prepare a contest submission package that contains ALL of the original receipts collected by the participating school AND an 8-1/2” x 11” sheet that lists the high school’s name, address, phone number, contest coordinator’s name, H-E-B market area, and total number of points collected. Entering schools are solely responsible for the accuracy of the count. Sponsor assumes no responsibility to review or correct counts but reserves the right to audit submissions. Sponsor may change market area designations of entering schools at its sole discretion but assumes no responsibility to do so. Sponsor’s Market Area designation decisions are final.
- The School Coordinator must mail the contest submission package to H-E-B Friday Night Football Challenge, PO Box 3122, Grand Rapids, MN, 55745-3122 to be received by 10/4/05. Limit one bulk contest submission per high school. Each school’s entry package must be postmarked by 9/29/05 and received by 10/4/05. Incomplete, illegible, damaged, incorrectly addressed, late, lost, misdirected and postage due contest submissions are ineligible.
- Any person may collect points for an eligible high school without making a purchase by hand-writing his/her name, address, phone number, selected high school name and address, the school’s H-E-B Market Area, the name(s) of up to 25 participating products, and the corresponding UPC number(s) of the referenced participating product(s) on a 3”x5” index card and mailing the card to H-E-B Friday Night Football Challenge, PO Box 3122, Grand Rapids, MN, 55745-3122 to be received by 10/4/05 . Each 3”x5” participating product listed on an index card equals 1 point, subject to a maximum of 25 points per index card. Individuals may submit as many 3”x5” cards as they wish, but each card must be mailed separately in a hand-addressed envelope to be eligible. All cards must be postmarked by 9/29/05 and received by 10/4/05. Incomplete, illegible, damaged, incorrectly addressed, late, lost, misdirected and postage due contest submissions are ineligible. All write-in points will be recorded by high school name and will be added to the high school bulk contest submission by Sponsor for proper verification. Cards should be submitted directly by participating individuals and may not be submitted in School Coordinators’ submission packages. Cards designating schools that do not submit eligible submission packages will be void.
- In accordance with H-E-B policy, all entrants and other persons are prohibited from soliciting H-E-B customers in or around H-E-B stores or adjacent areas, including parking lots. Any receipts determined to have been collected in violation of this policy may be deemed void. H-E-B reserves the right to disqualify any entering school that it finds to have violated this rule or to have encouraged or knowingly permitted the violation of this rule.
