Pale gold. Ripe pear, apple and honeydew aromas are brightened by spice and floral accents. Deep and fleshy in the mouth, with round pear and melon flavors, a hint of smokiness and slow-building herbacity. Decidedly weighty sauvignon but there's unlikely energy here as well. A spicy note carries through the very long, supple finish. This big boy clocks in at a pretty formidable 15% alcohol but doesn t betray any heat.
