"The Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion 30 Day Smoothing Kit: My hair is fairly straight, but the Suave Keratin treatment helped me style my hair quicker. My normal routine is to wash and dry my hair and run it through a straightener. I found that I didn't have to spend so much time running the straightener through. It was slightly intimidating to process my own hair, but after reading the instructions a couple of times, it was pretty straight forward. I would be interested in applying the Suave Keratin treatment again in the beginning of summer to help fight the Texas humidity.

"The product was fairly easy to use and the instructions are absolutely correct: the smoothing cream's smell is incredibly potent! It honestly smells like sulfur so it's important to apply in a room with a window. The other products didn't smell as strong. My only complaint about the application process is that it takes a lot longer than 45 minutes. This may be because I don't have a salon style sink and therefore had to hop in the shower after every application. It also took me about 20 minutes to blow dry my hair from start to finish. Total, it took me about an hour and fifteen minutes. After I blow dried my hair and flat ironed it, my hair felt incredibly smooth and the color of my hair was definitely more vibrant.
I washed my hair after about 56 hours from the original application and unfortunately it wasn't quite as smooth as I was hoping. All in all, I haven't noticed a huge difference in the condition and health of my hair, but I do feel the effects are worth the inexpensive price and I would be open to using it again."

"Initially I was worried about the time it would take to complete the entire process, it seemed a little daunting. But it actually took a little under an hour and a half and it went by really fast. The only problem I had with the application was that the products require the use of gloves, which means I couldn't tell if I was coating my hair properly because I couldn't feel my hair. I do have one small section in the back of my head that didn't come out as straight as the rest of my hair, so I'm guessing that I didn't get that part as well as I should have.
I chose not to blow dry my hair when I was finished as I don't normally do that. I wanted to see how my hair would dry differently now that I'd used the kit. When my hair was completely dry, it was straight, not curly and wavy like usual. I did need to straighten it with a flat iron in order to have a more finished look, but just for casual wear on a Sunday, it was great! And my hair is super soft now without me doing anything to it. Usually my hair is only soft if I use the flat iron, so it was a great side benefit that I wasn't expecting. As of right now I plan on buying this product again."
