Portions - Two ounces of cheese per person should be adequate. If cheese is the only thing on the board, you may want to opt for 3 ounces per guest to be on the safe side.
Accompaniments - Add some dry salami, Marcona almonds and grapes or berries to garnish the cheese platter and offer a palette cleanser between cheeses.
Preparation and Storage - You can prepare the cheese board ahead of time and store refrigerated for up to 24 hours in advance. Cube or slice a few pieces from each wedge of cheese and leave the rest of the wedge intact. Remove from the fridge about one hour before serving to allow the cheese time to cool to room temperature.
Serving - Use a separate knife for each cheese being served to allow guests to cut from the wedge, if necessary. Have toothpicks and small plates close by. And don't forget the H-E-B Deli Crackers to complement the cheese!
