The Scoop: Tackle your trouble spots and treat yourself to a fresh youthful glow with our January Beauty Pick of the Month, Orchid Facial Care Products. This month the H-E-B Beauty Panel protected our skin from the harsh winter weather with Orchid's Firming Lift Face Serum, Anti-Aging Eye Roller, Acne Spot Treatment and Thermal Clay Mask.

"I was pleasantly surprised with the Orchid skin care products! I have tried many different products (both drugstore and department store) throughout the years. I really like the serum. It's my favorite of the bunch! It's lightweight and has a pleasant smell. The warming mask gets very warm and feels great on my face. I don't really get puffy under my eyes (wrinkles are my enemy) but the under eye roller went on smoothly and did give a tad bit of moisture to my under eye area. I was very pleased with the results from these products and will recommend to others."

"It's been a while since I last went to the spa, but using the Orchid Thermal Clay Mask made me feel as if I were getting a special treatment at one! I absolutely love this product! I loved how the product felt against my skin, it immediately made me feel energized and refreshed. It also gave me a deep cleanse and has a great scent. Would definitely recommend! I used the face serum for a couple days, but didn't notice much difference in my skin. I didn't like the texture, very liquid and more like the serum I use for my hair. I probably would not buy this. I used the eye roller everyday for about a week and didn't notice if it diminished my dark eye circles. I did like that it seemed to brighten the skin around my eyes. It also felt refreshing and took some of the puffiness away."

"If you like facial masks (but don't like looking like an alien while you're waiting for the mask to dry), you should definitely give the Orchid Clay Mask a shot. You simply wet your face, rub it in for a minute and rinse it off. I loved the warming sensation, the little facial massage and the fact that my face was left super smooth and relaxed. This bottle has stayed in my shower for a little facial every few days and the warm shower helps the heating mechanism work better."

"My favorite item in the new Orchid skin care line is the thermal clay mask. It gently exfoliates your face with a warming effect and leaves skin super soft! Tip: This product works best if used in the shower. The acne spot treatment helps shrink blemishes, however it leaves my skin feeling dry and in need of a moisturizer. I recommend using with the face serum; it smells refreshing and is light enough to use both day and night."

"I really enjoyed the thermal clay mask and the face serum. The clay mask is a must for those groggy mornings. It really wakens your skin and has a warming sensation. The face serum acts like a primer and I noticed my foundation went on smoother when I used the product. I would be careful not to use too much along with a moisturizer because it can get a little oily. I didn't see results from the eye roller. I wasn't sure the product was coming out and had to leave the bottle upside down to make the application consistent. The acne spot treatment was ok. I would wait for it to dry before going to sleep or putting fabric against your face since it can discolor or bleach fabrics."

"Orchid Firming Lift Face Serum goes on smooth and absorbs fast. It's not tacky and smells good. After two weeks it has firmed the skin on my cheeks and neck noticeably and it works well with moisturizer I use for day and the night. The small wrinkles on my face by my mouth and nose are looking less noticeable, and I look forward to seeing the results after eight weeks. Love the stuff! The Orchid Anti-Aging Eye Roller goes on smooth. It's a nice size and the top stays on even in a purse. However, it is tacky once on and I could feel it on my skin not absorbing well. After I put it on I waited three minutes and it still felt tacky. When I put a little eye moisturizer on afterwards, it became a mess and had to wash it off."

"The anti-aging eye roller will stay in my makeup case! I liked that the product simply rolled on without my having to use my fingers. The little roller ball and product felt refreshingly cool on my skin. It felt so cool that I imagined keeping it in my refrigerator for days that I really need some puffy eye relief! The Orchid Acne Spot Treatment had a creamy texture but felt light when applied. There was no drying or flaking, and the product wasn't hard to remove. Both of these attributes are important since acne is already unsightly and can be painful to the touch. Best of all, it did the job seemingly overnight. The face serum had a clean smell and dispensed easily. I wasn't prepared for the tingling feeling. I didn't visibly notice a difference but I think of this as a preventative measure for someone my age. The thermal clay mask had a pleasant smell and a gritty texture. It was a little thinner than I expected, but didn't take much product to cover my face. I enjoyed the warming sensation and how soft it left my skin!"
