The Scoop: This month the H-E-B Beauty Panel took the John Frieda line of hair brushes for a spin. The sleek finish and full volume brushes are designed to tame your tresses into your desired style. "I love the sleek finish paddle brush! I used it with the John Frieda Full Volume Dryer and it made my hair so soft and frizz-free. I caught myself running my hands over my hair a couple of times during the day. It felt like I had just left the salon! I have very fine, straight hair. The full volume large thermal round brush is great for creating major volume. I used this when I dried my hair to create soft, bouncy curls for date night with my husband. Most round brushes get stuck in my hair when I'm drying and styling—this brush did not! "Wow! This hair dryer has power. It meets all my needs. To get my hair dry quickly, I use the high and hot settings, along with my John Frieda Flat Brush and I'm done in minutes. Style? "Ever since I had my hair styled with a paddle brush at the salon, a paddle brush has been on my wish list. I was eager to try the John Frieda brush so I could mimic the sleek blow out I received at the salon. The John Frieda Paddle Brush worked wonderfully with my hair and I was even able to give my style a little bit of bounce by using the smaller round brush on my layers. "The hair dryer worked really well and had a powerful motor, which made it very fast to dry and straighten my hair. However, the hair dryer is louder than my last dryer, which is an inconvenience as I typically dry my hair when I put my baby down to sleep. Also, I wish the dryer had a retractable cord since the dryer's cord is long and I don't care to wrap it around the dryer each time I put it away. I love the John Frieda hair brushes! I used the large thermal round brush instead of my typical paddle brush to straighten my hair and it really created nice volume and bounce.
