Request for Book Donations

Reading is a vital part of a child's learning experience. The tough reality is that not all Texas children have access to books in their homes. In 2011 H-E-B launched Read 3 to help the 507,000 Texas children who are not read to on a regular basis.¹ During the last year, 1 Million new or gently used children's books have been collected for children in need. This year, we plan on matching that goal.

If your organization or event has a need for books, please complete the H-E-B Request for Book Donation process.


Put together a package that includes:
1. Written proposal or letter of request on your organization's letterhead
2. Completed Request for Book Donation Application
