Grilled Guacamole

4  medium  Hass avocados, cut in half, stones and peel removed

1  sweet yellow onion, cut into 8 wedges

2  tomatoes, each cut into 4 wedges

2  jalapeño peppers, each cut in half, seeds and stems removed

4  H-E-B Ready, Fresh, Go!® Garlic Cloves

2  Tbsp.  H-E-B Olive Oil

½  tsp.  H-E-B Texas Originals Beef or Chicken Fajita Seasoning

*  juice of 1 lime

¼  c.  chopped fresh cilantro

*  salt and pepper

1  box (16 oz.)  H-E-B Baked Corn Tortillas, cut into chips


Combine avocados, onions, tomatoes, jalapeño peppers, garlic, olive oil, and fajita seasoning in a large zipper bag. Gently turn the bag over several times to coat ingredients.

pray a grilling mesh with nonstick cooking spray, and place on a foil-lined baking sheet. Heat gas or charcoal grill to medium low (300°F). Place seasoned avocado mixture on prepared grilling mesh and put mesh directly on hot grill. Close lid and cook for 5 minutes.

Chop grilled guacamole ingredients and combine in a large bowl with the lime juice and chopped cilantro. Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve with baked corn tortilla chips.
