Ingredients

2 tsp. H-E-B Olive Oil

1 medium carrot, peeled and shredded

1 small zucchini, shredded

3/4 c. fine chopped onion

4 button mushrooms, fine chopped

1 lb. H-E-B Ground Turkey, regular or breast

1/2 c. Hill Country Fare Whole Wheat Bread Crumbs

1 H-E-B Large Egg, beaten, or ¼ cup Hill Country Fare Real Egg

1 Tbsp. Hill Country Fare Worcestershire Sauce

6 H-E-B Bake Shop® Whole Wheat Hamburger Buns

* Lettuce, tomato, mustard, and mayonnaise

Instructions


Heat a large heavy-bottom skillet over medium heat for 3 minutes. Add olive oil,carrot, zucchini, onion, and mushrooms and stir-fry for 5 minutes. Place vegetables in a mixing bowl and allow to cool for 5 minutes.

Add turkey, bread crumbs, beaten egg, and Worcestershire sauce to the cooked veggies. Mix with your hands and form into 6 patties. Place on a sheet pan and set aside in refrigerator until ready to grill.

Heat charcoal for 30 minutes or heat gas grill for 10 minutes with lid closed. Grill burgers 4 inches above medium heat (375 degrees F) for 4 minutes on each side, or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. Split hamburger buns and toast on grill. Place a turkey burger on the bottom of each bun and add your favorite toppings: lettuce,tomato, mustard, or mayonnaise.
