Thai Basil Beef Salad

Ingredients

1  Tbsp.  canola oil

1  tsp.  lower sodium soy sauce

1  Tbsp.  sriracha sauce

1  tsp.  garlic, chopped

2  Tbsp.  rice wine vinegar

1  lb.  sirloin

1  tsp.  pepper

1  bunch  green onions

1  c.  basil (approximately 2 bunches)

1  -  cucumber slices

1  -  tomato, sliced

Instructions


Combine the first 5 ingredients into a re-sealable container and shake to combine.

Season the beef with pepper. Sear the beef in a large non-stick pan over medium high heat.

Sear for 4 minutes per side. Remove and let it rest. Add in the green onions and cook briefly.

Toss basil, cucumbers, and tomatoes with the dressing.

Slice the beef and divide among four bowls. Top each bowl with green onions and basil mixture.
