1 (8 oz) tub Hill Country Fare Whipped Topping, regular or light
2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
2 tablespoons granulated sugar or sugar substitute equivalent
1 loaf angel food cake
Thaw Hill Country Fare Whipped Topping in container overnight in refrigerator or set out on counter top for 1 hour.
Combine sliced strawberries and sugar in a bowl, cover and refrigerate.
Cut cake into two layers lengthwise. Place half of cake on cake platter. Spread 1/2 of whipped topping on the top and sides of cake. Arrange 1/2 of the sliced strawberries on the top and sides of the iced cake. Top the iced cake with the other cake half and apply the remaining whipped toping and strawberries. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve
