1  bunch  red Swiss chard

2  cloves  garlic, minced

1  teaspoon  olive oil

1/3  cup  chicken broth

*  salt and black pepper, to taste


Rinse chard. Trim stems and discard. Coarsely chop chard. Chop garlic finely to mince.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sautèacute; garlic 30 to 60 seconds or until golden. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.

Add chard, cover and cook 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve while hot.
