Spring Salad With Fresh Mixed Berries

Ingredients

1  tablespoon each:  H-E-B extra virgin olive oil & H-E-B red wine vinegar

1  tablespoon  Sugar or sugar replacement*

1  bag (16 oz.)  Hill Country Fare frozen mixed berries

1  bag (5 oz)  H-E-B ready fresh go leaf lettuce cut into bite-size pieces

1/2  cup  Sliced almond

Instructions


Combine the olive oil, red wine vinegar and sugar in the bottom of a large salad bowl and stir well with a fork until sugar is dissolved.

Layer the frozen mixed berries, salad greens and cheese over the vinaigrette. Cover with plastic wrap and chill until ready to serve. Before serving, add almonds and shredded cheese and toss to coat. Serve immediately.
