1  cup  orzo pasta

2  tablespoons  butter

1  large  carrot, diced

1  medium  onion, diced


Bring 2 quarts water to a boil in a medium sauce pan. Add orzo to boiling water and cook 3 minutes. Drain pasta and set aside.

While water heats and pasta cooks, dice carrot and onion into 1/4-inch cubes.

Melt butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Sautèacute; carrot and onion 3 minutes, until carrot is tender. Stir in orzo, heat through and serve.
