2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 cup butter
1/2 cup ice cold milk
4 cups milk
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 teaspoon nutmeg
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Mix flour, salt and baking powder. Cut in butter. Add ice cold milk, working only as much as needed.
Roll out to 1/8 inch thickness on lightly floured surface. Spread generously with softened butter; sprinkle with sugar and nutmeg. Roll up like jelly roll and chill.
Cut in 2-inch sections. Place seam side down in 9x13 inch baking dish.
Sauce: Place milk, sugar, butter and nutmeg in saucepan. Heat on medium until butter is melted. Pour over butter rolls.
Bake 40 minutes or until rolls are done.
