In New England, Lobster Rolls are served in «top-split» buns, making a nice cradle for the delicious Lobster Salad. _x000D_/n
2 cups cooked lobster meat, chilled
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons celery, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 tablespoons butter, softened
4 hot dog buns
Chop lobster meat coarsely. Place in a large bowl and toss with mayonnaise, celery, salt and pepper. Cover and place in refrigerator to chill.
Spread 1/2 tablespoon butter over each cut-side of hot dog buns; be careful not to pull buns apart. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat; heat buns in skillet, cut-side down, to brown slightly.
Remove from skillet and fill each with one-fourth lobster salad mixture.
