Mom's Spaghetti Sauce with Sausage

1  lb.  uncooked H-E-B Ground Italian Pork Sausage

1  onion, chopped

1  red or green bell pepper

1  (6 oz.) can  pitted ripe black olives

1  (24 oz.) jar  Mom's Spaghetti Sauce

*  McCormick Salt and Ground Black Pepper, to taste


Brown sausage in a large non-stick skillet or 4-quart pot over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes or until no longer pink. Break sausage into small pieces with the edge of a large cooking spoon during cooking.

Meanwhile, chop onion and bell pepper. Cut olives into quarters and set aside separately. Add onion and bell pepper to skillet with sausage. Cook 5 minutes or until tender.

Stir in olives and pasta sauce. Heat 3 to 5 minutes. Season to taste and serve.
