4 oz. H-E-B 96% Lean Ground Beef or 99% Lean Ground Turkey
1 H-E-B Large Egg White
1/2 clove garlic, minced
1/4 c. panko bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1 Tbsp. H-E-B Grated Parmesan Cheese
1/4 tsp. H-E-B Kosher Salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
2 Tbsp. H-E-B Extra Virgin Olive Oil
3/4 c. H-E-B Healthy Marinara Sauce
4 whole wheat mini slider rolls
2 slices H-E-B Provolone Cheese, halved
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Combine meat, egg, onion, garlic, bread crumbs, basil, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper with your hands in a large bowl. Use about 3 Tablespoons of meat to form each meatball.
In a large sauté pan, heat 2 Tbsp. olive oil over medium heat. Add meatballs and brown about 3 minutes. Flip and brown 3 minutes on the other side.
Add marinara sauce to pan and continue cooking on low heat about 20 minutes.
Cut rolls in half. Top half of each roll with 1 meatball, a spoonful of sauce and half a slice of provolone cheese. Place in the oven about 4 minutes to toast and melt the cheese. Enjoy!
