1/3 c. olive oil
* ground black pepper, to taste
1/3 c. soy sauce
1 Tbsp. chopped ginger
3 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
2 Tbsp. minced garlic
1 1/2 lbs. top sirloin steak, cut in 1/2-inch cubes
1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
1-2 medium onions, cut into chunks
1 pt. whole white button mushrooms, sliced
8-10 wooden skewers
Combine marinade ingredients in a medium bowl. Add cubed meat and stir to coat. Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes to an hour (or longer).
Soak skewers in water 30 minutes.
To assemble kabobs, add alternating items onto skewers repeating order, with a little space between items.
Preheat grill to Medium-High. Grill kabobs 8-10 minutes, turning often. Rest 5 minutes before serving.
