Ingredients

1  cup  jasmine rice

2  tablespoons  butter

1/2  medium onion, chopped

1 3/4  cup  water

3/4  teaspoon  salt

Instructions


Melt butter in a 2-quart saucepan over Medium heat.

Sauté onion 5 minutes.

Add rice and saute 3 minutes.

Stir in water and salt.

Bring to a boil, reduce heat to Low and simmer 20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.

Serve while hot
