1  (6 ounce) package  Hill Country Fare Cornbread Mix

1  egg, beaten

1  cup  milk

1  (8 ounce) package  H-E-B Shredded Cheddar Cheese

1/4  cup  H-E-B Harvest Moon™ Sliced Jalapenos, chopped & drained


Heat oven to 375°F. Spray an 8-inch square pan with nonstick cooking spray and place in preheating oven.

Combine the cornbread mix, egg, and milk in a mixing bowl. Beat mixture with an electric mixer for 30 seconds or until mixture is smooth. Add the cheese and jalapeños to the cornbread mixture. Remove preheated pan from oven and pour cornbread mixture into pan.

Bake on the center oven rack for 20 minutes or until cornbread is cooked through. Allow bread to cool 5 minutes and then cut into slices.
