2 pounds (3 medium) Russet potatoes
1/2 to 3/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter
2 to 3 teaspoons prepared horseradish
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
Peel potatoes, if desired, and cut into 1-inch cubes.
Cover potatoes with water in a 4-quart saucepan. Bring water to a boil over High heat. Reduce heat to Medium and simmer 20 minutes.
Drain water from potatoes. Add milk and remaining ingredients. Mash, adding more milk if needed
