Makes:

12 servings

Ingredients

1/2  cup  sugar

1/2  cup  brown sugar

1  tablespoon  honey

1/2  cup  butter

2  eggs

2  teaspoon  vanilla

2  cups  flour

1  teaspoon  baking soda

1/2  teaspoon  baking powder

1  teaspoon  salt

1/4  cup  buttermilk

4  large bananas, coarsely mashed

1  cup  pecans, toasted lightly

Instructions


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Oil a 1-lb loaf pan or two smaller loaf pans.

Cream sugars, honey and butter.

Blend in eggs and vanilla.

Combine dry ingredients and add to sugar mixture.

Combine buttermilk and bananas and add to mixture.

Stir in nuts.

Pour into prepared pans).

Bake 40 to 45 minutes
