Prepared pizza crusts are a great staple to keep in your pantry. In this recipe, they’re topped with pre-cooked BBQ chicken, peppers and onions.
6 - 8 servings
1 (16 ounce) container H-E-B chunky chicken breast with BBQ sauce
1 (5 1/2 ounce) can pineapple tidbits, drained
2 12-inch prepared pizza crusts
1 (16 ounce) package H-E-B Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1 to 2 red or green bell peppers, sliced into 12 rings
5 thin slices red onion, separated into rings
Heat oven to 450 degrees.
Combine chunky chicken breast and pineapple in a medium-size bowl. On each pizza crust, spread 1 cup of chicken-pineapple mixture, then top with 1 cup cheese, 6 bell pepper rings, and onions rings.
Top off each pizza with one more cup of cheese. Place pizza directly on middle oven rack in oven. Bake for 10 to 12 mintues or until cheese is melted and golden brown.
Cut each pizza into 6 to 8 wedges and serve
