Grilled Southwest Marinated Flank Steak

2  lb.  flank steak

1/4  c.  H-E-B Specialty Series Southwest Marinade


Combine the flank steak and marinade in a zipper bag, seal and refrigerate for 1 hour or until ready to grill.

Heat a charcoal or gas grill to 400°F. Place the marinated flank steak on the hot grill with the lid closed and grill for 2 minutes. Turn the meat over and continue to grill for another 2 -3 minutes with the grill cover open. Check the internal temperature of the meat for the desired degree of doneness. Turn the meat over once more until the desire degree of doneness it reached.

Place the meat on a cutting board and allow to rest 5 minutes. Thin slice the flank steak across the grain and serve.
