This shrimp dish gets its flavor and added zing from fresh lemon juice, tequila and Tabasco sauce. It’s quick and easy to prepare, leaving plenty of time to spend with family or friends.

1 pound medium or large raw shrimp in the shell
* lime wedges
1/4 cup lemon or lime juice
2 tablespoons grenadine syrup
2 ounces tequila
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco
Combine lemon or lime juice, grenadine syrup, tequila, salt and Tabasco in a bowl, add shrimp and marinate 30 minutes to 1 hour, turning occasionally.
Drain shrimp and skewer.
Grill over a medium to hot fire or broil 3 inches from the heat until the shells turn pink and the meat is opaque (2 to 4 minutes per side).
