1 tbsp. butter or margarine
1 to 2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 small onion, sliced into rings
1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper
1 can (14 1/2 oz) HCF French style green beans, drained
Melt butter or margarine in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add brown sugar and stir until mixture is dissolved and bubbling.
Add onion and cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add bell pepper and green beans; stir to combine.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Cook uncovered for 2 more minutes or until mixture is thoroughly heated
