4  ounces  crumbled blue cheese, feta or goat cheese

2/3  c.  Canyon bacon vinaigrette (note: shake or stir before measuring)

1/2  cup  walnut pieces or coarsely chopped walnuts

12  ounces  fresh H-E-B Ready, Fresh Go! Green Beans*

1/2  teaspoon  each Adams Fine Sea Salt and Coarse Ground Black Pepper

*  or substitute 1 pound fresh green beans, ends trimmed and beans halved.


Bring 2 quarts water to a boil in a 4-quart pot over High. Add green beans; boil 3 minutes over High heat until just crisp-tender. Do not over cook. Drain well. Place in a large salad bowl.

Meanwhile, toast walnuts in a medium skillet over Medium heat 5 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove skillet from heat; stir in vinaigrette.

Pour hot dressing mixture over green beans; stir. Add cheese; toss to coat. Season with salt and pepper, to taste; serve immediately
