1 pound green beans, or two 9-ounce packages frozen cut or French-style grean beans
1 cup red bell pepper, julienne sliced
2 tablespoons margarine or butter
Cut fresh beans into 1-inch pieces or, for French-style, into lengthwise pieces.
Cook, covered, in a small amount of boiling water for 20 to 25 minutes for cut beans (10 to 12 minutes for French-style) or until crisp tender.
(Or cook frozen beans according to package instructions.
Meanwhile, cook and stir red pepper in margarine over medium heat until slightly tender.
Add beans to peppers and sauté for a few minutes
