1 pound lean ground beef
1 cup H-E-B Ready, Fresh, Go! Chopped Onions
* salt & ground black pepper
1 cup H-E-B Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1/2 cup Hansmanns Traditions Grandma's® All-Purpose Baking Mix'
1 cup milk
1/4 cup H-E-B Harvest Moon™ Jalapenos, drained & chopped (optional)
Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease a 9-inch pie pan with butter and set aside.
Heat a skillet over High heat for 3 minutes. Add ground beef and onions and stir fry for 5 minutes until meat is brown and onions are translucent. Drain fat if necessary. Season with salt and black pepepr.
Spread ground beef mixture in the bottom of the prepared pie pan. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the ground beef mixture and set aside.
Combine the baking mix, milk, and eggs in a small bowl and stir well with a fork. Pour the batter over the shredded cheese. Sprinkle the jalapeños over the batter and bake on the center oven rack for 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
