Ingredients

1/2  c.  H-E-B White Wine Vinegar

1/2  c.  asian pear sake

1/2  c.  packed H-E-B Brown Sugar

1  Tbsp.  grated fresh ginger

2  large  Hothouse English Cucumbers

1  red onion,sliced thin

Instructions


Combine white wine vinegar, sake, brown sugar, and ginger in large glass or stainless-steel bowl. Stir to dissolve sugar and set aside.

Peel cucumber if desired. Cut cucumber in long, thin diagonal slices or slice it into thin rounds instead.

Add cucumber slices and red onion slices to vinegar-sake mixture, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes or until ready to serve.
