35 to 40 minutes
2 tablespoon cornmeal, for baking pan
1 (8.5-ounce) package cornbread mix
1 teaspoon salt
1 (16-ounce) package frozen chuck wagon corn
2 fresh jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped
3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
4 eggs, beaten
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup sour cream
Heat oven to 400 degrees.
Spray a 13 x 9-inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray and sprinkle with cornmeal.
Combine cornbread mix, salt, corn, peppers, butter, eggs, cheese and sour cream in a large mixing bowl.
Stir mixture well and pour into prepared baking dish.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown.
Cool 10 minutes before cutting into squares
