Double-Layer Chocolate Butterscotch Fudge

2  cans  Eagle Brand condensed milk

1 (12 oz.)  package  semi-sweet chocolate pieces

1 (12 oz.)  package  butterscotch morsels

1 (6 oz.)  package  semi-sweet chocolate pieces

2  teaspoon  vanilla

1/2  cup  chopped nuts


Grease an 8 or 9-inch-square pan.

Make the chocolate fudge layer by combining 1 can of condensed milk and 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate morsels in the top of a double boiler.

Cook until morsels are melted, stirring constantly for 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and add one teaspoon of vanilla.

Pour into pan and refrigerate while preparing butterscotch layer.

Using the butterscotch morsels, prepare the butterscotch layer in the same manner as the chocolate.

Pour over the chocolate layer.

When the fudge has cooled completely, melt additional 6 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate in top of double boiler, stirring until melted.

Transfer chocolate to a sealable sandwich bag and snip off a small piece of one lower corner of bag.

Create a zigzag pattern with melted chocolate and top with chopped nuts. Slice and serve.
