4 tablespoons H-E-B Butter or Olive Oil
1/2 cup sliced almonds
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup Hill Country Fare Clear Chicken Broth
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 package H-E-B Select Frozen Green Beans (16 oz)
Melt butter or margarine in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add almonds and cook for 2 minutes or until golden brown, stirring constantly. Remove almonds from pan and set aside in bowl.
Combine lemon juice, chicken broth and cornstarch in a small bowl and stir until cornstarch is completely dissolved. Place broth mixture in skillet used for almonds and cook over medium heat until thickened (about 1 minute). Season to taste with salt and pepper; set aside.
Cook the green beans according to package directions and drain. Place cooked beans in a serving dish and top with thickened chicken broth and toasted almonds
