2  cups  uncooked long-grain rice

1/2  cup  finely chopped onion

1/2  cup  finely chopped carrot

4  cloves  minced garlic

2  tablespoons  butter

4  cups  water

1  cube  KnorrĀ® Caldo Con Sabor de Pollo (chicken-flavored bouillon)

1/2  cup  chopped cilantro


Chop onion and carrot finely. Mince garlic.

Heat butter in a 3-quart saucepan over Medium-High heat. Sauté onion, carrot, garlic and rice 3 to 4 minutes, stirring frequently, until rice begins to brown.

Add water and bouillon cube; stir to dissolve cube and bring water to a boil.

Cover pot; reduce heat to Low and simmer 15 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat. Stir in cilantro and serve while hot.
