3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon water
2 teaspoon vanilla
1 package (54) chocolate thin mints

Mix flour, soda, and salt together, cream butter and gradually add the white and brown sugars, creaming well.
Blend in eggs one at a time, beating well.
Add water and vanilla and blend.
Add dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Cover and refrigerate dough at least two hours When ready to bake, take up about a tablespoon of the dough and enclose a chocolate mint wafer.
Place two inches apart on a greased baking sheet.
Top each cookie with a pecan half.
Bake in a moderate 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
