H-E-B Frozen Fully Cooked Italian-Style Seasoned Chicken Breasts

babybella mushrooms, sliced

medium
sweet onion, sliced

tablespoons
butter

cup
Marsala wine
1/2
teaspoon
ground black pepper

fontina cheese, thinly sliced

ciabatta bread
![]() Instructions ![]() Heat oven to Broil. Microwave chicken according to package directions. Cut chicken crosswise into thin slices.
![]() Meanwhile, slice mushrooms and onion. Melt butter in a large skillet over Medium-High heat. Sautèacute; mushrooms and onion 7 to 9 minutes until tender.
![]() Add chicken strips and Marsala to skillet with mushrooms and onion. Season with pepper; cook and stir 3 to 5 minutes until wine is almost evaporated. Remove skillet from heat.
![]() Split ciabatta bread in half horizontally. Toast both sides lightly under broiler, 1 to 2 minutes. Spoon chicken mixture over bottom half of bread loaf; top with cheese slices. Return to broiler briefly to melt cheese, if desired. Put top bread half over bottom; cut into 4 portions and serve while hot
