1 package Krusteaz Gingerbread Mix
1/2 cup water
1 H-E-B Egg
1 can (21 ounces) Lucky Leaf Apple Pie Filling
3/4 cup H-E-B Sabor Tradicional Cajeta Quemada (Milk Caramel Spread)
1 aerosol can Hill Country Fare Real Dairy Whip Heavy Whipped Cream
Heat the oven 350°F. Spray a 2-quart baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
Prepare the gingerbread mix according to package directions using only 1/2 cup water and one egg in a large mixing bowl. Stir-in the Lucky Leaf Apple Pie Filling with a spoon and pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
Bake the cake on the center oven rack for 40 to 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool the cake for 30 minutes. Cut the cake into 9 squares and top each with a Tablespoon of H-E-B Caramel Cajeta and a squirt of whipped cream.
