20 to 25 minutes
3/4 pound fresh Brussels sprouts, cleaned and trimmed, or one 10-ounce package frozen Brussels sprouts
1 pound carrots, peeled and sliced, or one 10-ounce package frozen carrots
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
* salt, to taste
* pepper, to taste
* carrot curls for garnish (optional)
Steam vegetables separately for about 20 minutes over a small amount of boiling water.
(Or prepare as package directs.
Melt butter or margarine in skillet.
Season with salt and pepper.
Sauté vegetables for a few minutes until heated through.
Garnish with carrot curls, if desired.
