15 to 20 minutes
1 1/2 pounds halibut steaks, cut 1-inch thick
* non-stick cooking spray
* salt and black pepper
1 10.5 ounce jar roasted sweet pepper strips, drained well
3/4 cup reduced fat mayonnaise
1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 cup crushed seasoned croutons
Heat oven to 425 degrees. Spray a large baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Season halibut with salt and pepper and lay in baking pan.
Combined drained pepper strips, mayonnaise, balsamic vinegar and red pepper flakes in a small bowl.
Spread mixture evenly over top of fillets and sprinkle with crushed croutons.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until fish has turned from translucent to opaque and is just beginning to flake in the center. Serve immediately.
