1 lb. extra lean ground beef (97% lean)
1/2 c. green onions, chopped
1/2 c. blue cheese crumbles
4 Tbsp. bacon jam
1 pkg. pre-sliced mushrooms, assorted
1 tsp. black pepper
1 Tbsp. steak sauce
In a large bowl, combine beef, steak sauce, black pepper, and green onions. Mix well and form into 4 equal patties.
Spray a large sauté pan with non-stick spray and over medium heat. Sauté mushrooms until well browned. Remove to a bowl.
In the same sauté pan, spray a bit more non-stick spray then add the four preformed patties. Cook 6 minutes on one side then turn. Add 1 tbsp. of bacon jam to each burger, and then top with blue cheese. Cover and cook a few minutes until the cheese begins to melt.
Remove from the pan and place on a plate. Top with sautéed mushrooms and serve.
