4  pork chops, 3/4 to 1 inch thick

2  apples, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces

1/2  onion, sliced

1  tsp.  dried sage

1/2  c.  apple cider

3  Tbsp.  apple cider vinegar

1  tsp.  salt

1  Tbsp.  olive oil


Place a large skillet over a Medium-High flame. Season chops with oil, sage, salt, and pepper.

Place each chop in the heated pan and sear 3 minutes per side.

Remove chops and add in apples and onions. Sauté for 4 minutes then add in vinegar and apple cider.

Let sauce come to a gentle simmer and return chops to the pan.

Adjust heat to medium, cover, and allow chops and apples to cook together for 4 minutes.

Remove lid and serve.
